Two of my very best friends were born on this day.  So if you are having a baby today, know they will be one of the smartest, kindest, most principled, fun-loving and giving people in the world.  They will be loyal and true friends, who will tell you the truth whether it is your darkest or finest hour, and knows when you would rather go out dancing than talk about it.  They will choose a true partner for their spouse, be pioneers in their extended family, do things differently and not be afraid, suffer losses with grace and wins with humility.  They were born on St. Patty’s Day, but I am the one with the luck o’ the Irish, because they love me.

March 17, 1982 brought her into my life.

She didn't arrive in my life until 1995, but March 17, 1977 was a golden day for me.
