They are having SO much fun! And they think it’s just for a good time – they actually THANKED me for getting this puzzle of the world out.
Let’s see how they feel seven billion pieces later. The piece representing Kansas is the size of an emaciated lady bug.
But listening to them sing “The Middle East” from Geography Songs makes it so rewarding. (“Fifteen countries of Southwest Asia; Muslims, Christians and Jews!”)

You left a kind comment a while back on my blog regarding dyslexia. After much research (thanks to comments and emails), I decided to go with Susan Barton’s program. It is an orton-gillingham based program as you recommended. Saxon may have much the same material. I chose it for many reasons, but one of them is that it is a language arts program as well. I also have the book you recommended, The Dyslexic Advantage, on my reading list.
I should have said “complete” language arts program!
