Yes, yes it is. BUT, as great as reading is, food is still a necessity and reading is not.

I have to say things like that all the time. Also, sometimes I have to take away books in order to get children to do what they need to be doing, like getting dressed or cleaning their room.
I can SOOOO relate to this. First it was the oldest child who we have even caught brushing her teeth and trying to read a book at the same time. Now the middle child is doing it too! I told them the other day that I was going to bring my book in the car and ignore everyone and everything and let them drive!
